I set and was just cussing about my tractor not moving now and it was working perfect. Hummmm put that lever in gear and off I went... talk about feeling a bit silly. "I DID!" lol

get a itt book and a gage. it will explane how to check the case-o-matic pressure.had one with the pump drive shaft broke off in bottom of trans housing. sounds like a case-o-matic,it has no clutch as you know.

Do you have the hand clutch lever in the forward position? Maybe redundant, but something I have overlooked... Gene

dont have a hand clutch that I have found. it has a handle on the right side of the steering wheel that has something to do with the clutch as is goes to the piston beside the one that the clutch pedal operates.I have a manual ordered but hasnt arrived yet.

it is not the range selector as I have tired it in all positions.as for the history I dont know anything about the tractor as I just bought it over e bay it was low on fluid and filled it but didnt make any difference. I supect that the power steering is conected in some way because the hyd.hose to the steering comes from where the clutch pedal is conected on top of tor.tube
