Friend of mine has a Case tractor he needs to rebuild..It got a 211b tag on it,but I'm not convinced that it's a 211b...especially since there's also a triple-range rear section witht the tag gone at the same location. Question...Did the 210b/211b come with individual gauges,or only a single cluster gauge setup? Is there an easy way to identify the 126 if that's what he has? Does the 148 gasket kit fit the 126,and will heads interchange from the 126 to a 148? Thanks in advance...

My tractor is a 58 B-311 With flat nose front and lights in it. My dash is one glass over all the gauges. Oh mine is a Late model 58 for the first one's were round nose.
The other info given sure was useful to me. Thanks for all that info on case

Hi TimBinWV: My father bought one of these new...a 1958 (first year one) I spent literally thousands of hours on this tractor over the years. It was much of the time overloaded and over worked for it"s size. We used to call it the "Jackrabbit" Or "Grasshopper" as it was fast and light. The ag model came with 5.00-15 front tires and 10-28 rears with 11-28 as an option. Tripl-Range was an option; as was power take-off ( you could also get a hand clutch option for the p.t.o.) belt pulley; eagle hitch and hyd. system; three point hitch;and the remote (portable)hyd. control system. Ours came with Tripl-Range; eagle hitch;remote hyd.; p.t.o.;and the 11-28 rear tires. The dash has a 0-30# oil gauge on the left side ; a left hand tach in the center (0-2500rpms) and a heat gauge on the right side. I am not sure but i believe that the heads on the Va"s thru the 148"s will all interchange. A poor machine shop ( found out the hard way) ruined our original head. I do"nt remember what head we used..i think i got one off of a Vac. Our tractor now sports the 148 engine as someone forgot to check the anti-freeze and cracked the block. There is not a whole lot of differance between 200"s and 300"s. It is a great little tractor and they only made them two years ...1958 (1,145)& 1959 (496)1,641 total tractors in the ag. model and in the industrial model they made in 1958 (178) & 1959 (203) for a total of 381 industrial units. The industrial model could gotten with Dual Range shuttle ...giving you 8 speeds forward and 8 speeds in reverse...this option could not be used with the Constant-running P.T.O.; Tripl-Range or belt pulley. There were also some seat and light options; etc. on the ag. and industrial models. I hope this sheds some light on this for you. If you need manuals the Case Co. should be able to get you what you need or you can surf the net.

I think the 200B Series had individual gauges. The one I saw on Ebay did.
