I like the electric pump idea. Can you just energize it to prime the systen and then leave it off the rest of the time ? The little mechanical pump on my 1030 dosen't work very well. I have been using the air in the fuel tank method along with severe beatings to anyone that ran the thing out of fuel.

Iwant the tractor to appear original and that is why I want the hand pump. Yes it can be a pain but I havent run a tractor out of fuel in years so I dont plan on using it much.

Thanks

When mine cracked I installed a 1/4" pipe coupler in its place. Air pressure in the fuel tank primes it up just fine.

The case price is around $187 which is way out of my budget. That is why i am looking for a used one.

Something don't seem right there. I bought mine last spring and I know it was less than fifty.

I just got off the phone with a different case dealer and they confirmed the $187 price. I guess it has some gold in it somewhere.
