HOW DO I WIRE A 12 VOLT SYSTEM FOR MY DC. MY MAG IS BAD AND I NEED A WIRING DIAGRAM FOR THE 12 VOLT. THANK YOU

This is what I did. Ran wire from + on battery to toggle switch[installed on dash]. From toggle switch to + side on coil [ I found a coil with internal resistor on ebay and mounted to rear of oil filter with longer bolt]. From - side of coil, ran wire to points. I took out the kill switch terminal and ran the wire through that hole. Disconnected the mag coil wire to the points. Drilled hole slightly larger than spark wire of coil, approx one and one eight inch from back center top of cap for fire. Try not to drill all the way through. I used an automotive 12v condensor, your condensor may work fine. Set the points from .18 to .20 gap. E-mail me if you have questions. Joe

Make sure mag coil top wire is bent over so it won't go in cap. Use copper spark wires for better spark.

Unless you have a distributor instead of a mag, your ignition is not wired into the electrical system.

OK. I HAVE A DISTRIBUTOR THAT WAS MADE FROM A MAG I HAVE THE 2 POST DRILLED INTO IT FOR THE WIRES FROM THE COIL, BUT I NEED TO KNOW WHERE ALL THE WIRES GO
