Got a CC parts tractor - hoping to combine it with my C to have a nicer tractor. 2 questions at the moment:

1. I'm trying to remove the water pump - got it about 1/2" out, but stops there. I broke the one on my C at this point.... what's the trick??

2. Will the one from the CC fit the C? I got the one from the C welded up, but would like to have one in there that is whole.

3(forgot one). I assume the one from the CC will need seals, etc. - has been sitting for probably 30 years. Where can I find seals??

Thanks for the help!

no seals, clean up two hard steel washers and coat with waterproof grease, assuming bearings and bushings are good.

The only sure way to save the water pump is to pull the front sleeve, and work through there to get it out. Good Luck DK

I wish I could tell you haow to get them out without breaking but I cant. But I did make a tool to get them out if they are broken off in the block. Its a heavy duty slide hamer with a grab hook thing. It works very well if you do brake it off in the block. I can post piucs or may even loan it to you if needed.
