Well I guess I'm still in the ballpark with my SC front end then. I bought it out Canada about 2200 miles from here. The axle was not in nearly as good of condition as promised. I was able to get the fellow down to $200. $200 (axle) + $200 (freight) + $300 (rebuilding cost as I remember it) = $700.

I probably put between $200 and $300 into rebuilding mine. The one on Ebay looked like it needed some work as well.
