I need dipstick or someone to let me how long it needs to be for a 351 or 500B triplerange cover. a 300 maybe the same. Some used a side filler hole instead but not mine. Case part# G14099

I see I made a mistake Jim.

The second line 3-7/8" is from the bottom of the plug to the "FILL" line.

I think you probably figured that out anyway.

Yes I got that. I went outside in my short sleeve shirt about 68 out and made the dipstick just now and am all done. When I restored the 351 I removed the triplerange so a the pulls I would not have use low gear low range since there would be no ranges. Now they have gone to a speed sensor and a 3MPH limit. We are having a show this month featuring CASE tractor with a 30 mile ride the Saturday before the show and some out of town CASE people want to join in the ride but with fuel prices they don't want to haul any. I reinstalled the triplerange tuesday and wednesday night after work and now with your help all it needs is a bath. THANKS AGAIN
