I have seen on the earlier models of 58 Case. The radiator cap is sticking up and out on top of hood where it is seen.
On this B model my cap is down inside and only a hole is seen there to reach threw. .. So would I be save in saying that is how it should be on mine? Since it is clear that my hood shows a 530 model and not a B type. I have to ask these question to know the does and don'ts of it's looks in real time. I am sorry I have to ask many questions on mine to learn about it. But I don't have acess to this kind of information I need any where else. So please be paitent with me. Learning.. but slow. *S

In 1958, the 300b had a pop-in cover that hid the radiator cap. The 1959 model year had the cap above the hood. This was the same through the end of production. The 430 and 530 are the same also. JR
