I am looking at a 430 industrial with a loader & box blade. It dos not have a pto. How hard is it to add one from a parts tractor?

We just had the PTO unit rebuilt on our late model 430. The unit simply unbolted from the back of the rear end housing. I would wonder about 2 things, is there a removable plate that covers the area that the Pto unit would go and is the shaft that drives the Pto unit already in place? If there is a plate, it would be easy to remove it and see if the shaft is there or not. Don

Yes there is a plate covering the spot. Looks like it is made to add. The bad thing is, I went to look at the parts tractor & it is in better shape than the loader tractor. The man had all the sheet metal put up & it was in real good shape. I was going to buy it for the rear tires & PTO but the only thing wrong with it was a tired gas engine. I paid him $400. Now I still need tires because I'll have to fix it up. I'll forget about adding the PTO and leave the box blade on it. It is a factory loader with case box blade. Thanks Don for the info.
