Maybe try a dealer who works with Hy-Capacity out of Humboldt, IA. They do a lot of power train type of parts, and I know they have DC clutches. I've never checked if they have SC parts.

I don't have production data in front of me, but they made the SC from '39-'54, and the last two years were the only ones with live power, so I'm sure they will be hard to find. I'm sure most people would think twice about scrapping a LPTO model out too. You may be hunting for a while. No match-ups at NAPA or clutch rebuilding shops?

Glenn

Well I tried O'reilly's and no luck there. I'd try a clutch rebuild shop but the one I have has some broken castings and figure it can't be fixed. I'll keep tring for a while and then if I can't find one I might try to fix what I have by doing some welding but sure hope I don't have to go that way

most clutch shops can match up the old one to something that is close that can be made to work. I would take it to them any way and see what they can come up with.

I would but is a 100 mile gamble and thats just one way plus they can not give me any idea of the cost over the phone so I could well be out $100-300 and still not have any thing that will work

You could try Don L at 507-433-0073. Some times he is on here, he has some used parts.
