Wanting to remove 3 point control valve (draft control valve)to service it. After removing the four bolts, securing valve to housing, is it possible to unscrew the spool to remove valve? From looking at valve diagram, it appears, the shaft which is pinned to the draft control linkage is threaded into spool.Has anyone ever done this? Are there any negative factors in doing this?

Yes, unscrew it. Makes it easy.
