on the very late 730--830 tractors, did they have the screens in the nose ? or did they do away with them like 930--1030.

Case did away with them on the last of the 9 and 1030s but I think the 7 and 830s still had them to the end. My '68 830 still has the screens but don't know about the '69s. Maybe someone with a '69 730 or 830 could chime in here and let us know.

I think we have a play on words,When Case went to the square front tractors(4-5-6-7-8-900)(1958) lines, they did away with the seperate screens like were on the Round Nose 3-4-500 tractors and went to a Perforated Grill with no loose screens.

Are you talking about the air cleaner screens in the sides of the upper cowl? The later tractors had the air cleaner stack going out the top and probably the screens were eliminated, just my guess !

I am no expert but all of my 30 series tractors have screens. I do not recall them being built
with out screens.
