I have a late model Case 530 WF with the twin power steering cylinders under the engine. They have been seeping over the last few yrs. but now are leaking badly. Does anyone know the right way to fix problem ? Are parts to rebuild cyls. available or are complete assemblies the only option and are they available.

I will also be calling a Case/IH dealer next week but wanted to know what other Case people may have experienced. Thanks.

Last year I rebuilt a pair of those rams. I got the seal kits from the local case/IH dealer. No leaks yet!

The cylinders can be rebuilt with standard hydraulic shop parts. Not a hard job once you learn how to get the retainer off the shaft through the hose port... Gene

You can buy kits at sites like this link but you need to positively identify the existing cylinders on the tractor I.E. they may not be factory original or have changes linked to serial nrs.
