Hey guys, have an opportunity to buy a Case 211-B tractor in reasonably good shape but before I do I was wondering if you can still get parts for these things. The asking price is $1900 and I know right now the tach isn't working and that sometime down the road it may eventually need some motor work. Just wondering if you can still easily get parts for these. Thanks to all in advance and I look forward to the input. Also what is the long lever for located on the same side as the clutch pedal, it looks like it goes into the bell housing? thought maybe it was some kind of pto clutch or something? thanks again

The tach probably doesnt work because the cable is broken. I replaced mine once or twice but finally gave up and run without the tach. it is a good tractor.

The lever on the left-hand side of the machine should either be a shuttle shift(forwards to reverse) of a hand-clutch for continuous (live) pto...parts are fairly available....dunno about a tach...seems that the instrumentation on these tractors is expensive to repair to original.....

That isn't too much for a tractor in good condition...tires,paint,sheetmetal all good?

Well thats good to hear that parts are still fairly common and the likes. The tractor is in really good shape and has apparently had the engine re-built. The paint is original but good and there is brand new rubber all around? is it a steal at $1750?
