I picked up an EDSC-7 a couple years ago after it didn't sell at an auction. No one wanted it as the PTO is too high..just as it was designed for the DC and SC. Look around they are not very popular as they do not work well with other makes of tractor...

A JD No. 5 is probably the best sickle bar mower ever made and can be made to fit on your DC. We ran a JD No. 9 on our SC but the SC pto like your DC is up high and the shaft runs ay a very high angle. U joints don't last too long. No. 5 gear box sits farther back and is a little higher so the longer pto shaft does not run at as steep an angle.

Hi. I am using a three point type 1000 series international wobble box mower on my 300 CASE. Its works very well and is faster than the pitman type john deere I had.
