What type of brakes are in a 1951 Case DC with a hand clutch? Thanks

I suspect that you have the earlier type disc brakes, but to be sure, let me know your serial number and I can double check. There was a change in late 51 or early 52.
By the way, I am the Case collectors' D series resource person and I have the parts books to refer to.

Dalton: You can look at the brake assembly for your DC online. Go to CaseIH.com/parts and work through until you come to the first of 3 DC parts books; be sure you use the first one as it covers the 1951 tractors. On PP 80-81 you will find an exploded view of the brake assembly and the part numbers.
