Forgot to mention, take some soapy water and spay on the lines to check for leaks. Good LP supplier should be able to provide parts if needed.

I know when I bought my 910 I never even thought a lp would have a choke. All the propane fork lifts never had one. The guy I bought the tractor from had it running when I got there to get it so when I got it home I cranked on it till I run the battery down. Thought I got taken, a no starting tractor. Then I was reading in my manual about the choke. Made world of difference.

Do you try starting yours on vapor or liquid.

I start mine on liquid unless its below freezing, then I use vapor. 95 or -9 it doesn't seem to matter as far as outdoor temperature.
It needs to crank for a long time no matter what.
The battery just goes dead faster when everything is cold and stiff.

My 910 propane has a choke and cable just like a regular gas carb would have.

So does my 730LP. But it doesn't seem to matter if you pull the choke or not. I have the same trouble that it has to crank forever before it will fire. Would an undetectable leak in the system somewhere cause all the propane to evaporate from the lines and diaghram after it sits awhile?
