The parts you will need will be the PTO shaft from a '49, '50, or '51 DC plus the sump housing that the pump attaches to along with a 1 or 2 valve pump. You may also have to change the draw bar frame that bolts to the rear of the tractor. The draw bar frame bolts to the bottom of the new sump casting. You will need to split the tractor to remove the C clip that holds the PTO shaft in the front bearing. The top cover must be removed so you can slip the new PTO shaft through the drive gear. the chain drive can be installed trough the opening when the pump is removed. I have a '46 DC that has been converted. Good Luck!!
