I am down to thinking I should have cracked open the pump and gauged all the pump gears. Relief valve was scored up bad and I replaced it,the spring, side o-ring, cleaned eveything well, blew out the oil galleries, purged the oil pressure gauge lines and still very low pressure on two different gauges. I am going to pull the pump again this weekend and take the cover off the pump gears and use the feeler gauge checking techniques shown in the Case service manual.

Now for the question. IF I have to replace the pump, does the pump from the 430/530 tractor/660 combine (159/201 CID gas)part number G11844 interchage with 630 (188 CID gas)part number A49022 (new number A38369)? Also does anyone have a good used pump for the 630 gasser they may want to sell?

J,
I doubt if what i have will work for you but i have a good oil pump from a 1959 Case 267 diesel. It was out of a 801B. If it'll work for you then I'll make it really cheap to help you out.
Larry

Just a suggestion. Look for a machine shop with a surface grinder if the side clearance on the gears is to much. they can grind a few thousandths off of the gear case to bring it back to specs.
