Funny I have two things a 1945 Case LA and 1968 Saab Sonett II. I paid $48 for a tiny little case LA model an wanted this one but its priced way out of my league. I finally got a Sonett II model I have over $200 in it and had put it together and paint it myself. Darn i think I'll try to get an Old ford or JD so I can get a cheap model.

Those models are few and far between so I doubt if the selling price was out of line. I paid at least that much for my LA model over 10 years ago. Due to Case Corp's stringent licensing procedures, no one wants to build models like that anymore.

There was a gas LA model at a show here a few years back. They were asking $600.00.

After I did my prior post, I remembered that I had seen an LA on the Red Wagon Antiques website so I checked it again. They have a gasoline one for $465.00 so whoever bought the LP one got a bargain.

Mine was made around 1994 by a young guy up in Alberta.
Dingman's were made about 10 years before that.
