does anyone know if there is suppose to be any end play in the worm gear shaft on the steering gear box.?the model is a 1030 comfort king.

Good advise from mEl. Might add if you are having trouble with steering feeling like it wants to lock up you need to check u joints. At this this age of there life they are probably dry if never serviced. One at gear box is a n eedle bearing an can be replaced. Others you can disamble an grease. Least that is how my 930was. Needle bearing u joint is avaible from napa an probably from Case.
