I would be very grateful if someone would reply with the differences between a Case 430 and Case 530 - gas models. I have a nice old Case 430 and am considering buying a Case 530 for parts. I should be able to combine several parts to make a really nice tractor. Thanks for your help!

All those components mentioned will be identical. Apart from engine displacement, the other diffences are in the grill, hood, fenders and steering column. You will find more differences if one is an early model and one is a late model. There were also various options in transmissions that might differ between the 2 tractors.

The 430 gas and 530 gas used the same block the bore was the only difference. Should be no problem changing engines.

Hello,
You can see the dashes are different?
Most everything will interchange but the 30 series has 3 major productions. early, middle & late production. 3 different parts books.
You"ll have a great spare parts inventory.
Many parts are no longer available.
Merry Christmas, Dennis.....
