I need to replace a couple of leaky hoses on my Case 195 (mostly the hydraulic lift hoses). I know these things can be fabricated by shops that make hydraulic hoses, but that could be prety expensive. Are there any OEM parts still around that fit these older sizes. They seem to have standard threading, so I'll bet they are easy to find. I would also like to get the hydraulic control valve rebuilt (drive post leaks) or find a new one that fits. I don't mind doing a little fabrication or adaption if it isn't exact. Does anyone have one of that might fit.

Andre...you will find it very reasonable to have hoses made up rather than purchase OEM items in most cases. Just take your old ones to a hydraulic shop.

Thought so. Thanks for the advice. I will go ahead with the lift hydraulics hoses. The drive hoses are actually pretty good. I just got back from Brian Miller"s shop in Columbia MO. He cleaned up the valve seats (exhaust needed a little grind, and it needed a new exhaust valve). That"s ready now. I left the crank with him for rod bearing journal grind. It will work with the -.010 rod, and no undersized rod bearing needed. More good news is that the cylinder wasn"t scored, and no increase in piston will be needed (just rings). I honed the cylinder this morning, and the whole surface honed up great (no dips or pits). I got the main bearings from him, and I"m waiting for a gasket set. By the time I get new hoses installed, it will be ready for the engine. The lift hydraulic valve leaks at the control valve stem seal, but I can do that after it is all back together. I"ll ask about a rebuild when I get the hoses.
