Just changed my hydraulic/trans fluid, and installed new filter. Now my lift arms only go down half way. I suspect this might be from air in the system. Does anybody know if/how I can remedy this? It worked fine before I changed the fluid/filter. I have noticed it has a tendency to reset itself to lift when I push the lift control lever all the way down. After a moment the lever will come up on it's own about 2 inches, causing the lift arms to raise. Malfunction in Draftomatic feature, perhaps? KY Jim
P.S. Tractor is 66 model 931 Rowcrop with 8-speed trans, Draftomatic, and two remotes, 2-speed shifter on left side of dash.

Check your DOM depth control lever. It is the little lever on the seat platform between the seat base and hydraulic levers. I think it has to be in the forward hole. Good luck- Brian

Sounds like it could be air.....try putting something heavy (like a plow) on the 3 point and cycle up and down a few times. It might be difficult to attach the plowif the arms will not stay down but that would be my 1st suggestion.
