I just got a VAH and someone has replaced the engine. Did a real cobb job . I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what engine it is. There is a tag on the right side but nothing is stamp where it says Model But in the serial number line it is stamed #2074941. It looks like a newer engine as the manifold is the later style, the starter is butchered in there and is is a tiny motorcaft looks like something from a import so can't tell anything there. The engine is much bigger by looking at it then my other VACs Can anyone help is there any other way to find out what it is? Thanks Ed

Do you see the Case Eagle symbol on any of the engine castings. It may not even be a Case engine. Are there any casting numbers on the head or block? Regardless of what engine is in it now, if it not the correct one (123 cu.in.), I would change it out.

Should be a 124 cu.in. Case engine. If it's an early version,It may be a continental engine, but I'm not so sure if they made a VAH with a continental engine. I have an engine from a 54 model VAC-14 that needs rebuilt for sale.It 's partially disassembled, and will need the crank turned.Email is open.
