Our tractor club has a 930, we use to haul our elimiator around. Left of the steering cloumn is a lever. H S L i figured high and low but what is the middle position?

Start.....if things are adjusted properly, range shift must be in neutral(center) position to start. A great safety device that if it is not working, I suggest you correct immediately for the safety of all your club members.

Obviously someone has bypassed the neutral start switch or you would not be asking that question, for safety sake it should be repaired.From the factory you would have to place the dual range lever in S to allow the solenoid to kick in to start the engine. The switch in question is on top of the trans top under the floorboards and oftimes can be restored to working order by removing a shim washer or two from under the switch after removing it.
