It seems like at some point Case changed their part numbers for things like cylinder packing kits. Does anyone have a reference or at least a quick list they could forward to me? I'd like to buy a couple of new seals from someone other than Case but I need their current part numbers.

My immediate need is for the backhoe cylinders. My parts book shows:
BOOOM & CROWD D37358
BUCKET D37356

Do I also remember that now you need to order two different parts for some of these things that were once a single part number?

I don't know the part numbers without researching... but I can tell you that we get our Hydraulic Cylinder seal kits for our 580CK from "Equipment Part Source", Online LINK is:Link

The>Link kits are good quality, USA made, and about 1/2 price as Case. The pictorials will clearly define which kits to order. Be aware that the 580CK used several different designs for the cylinder packing seals. I suspect the 530CK may be the same. You will need to look for an identifier groove style on the gland to order the correct kit.

Dale at tractor stuff (http://www.e-backhoeparts.com/) has been great. Answered all my questions and was a huge source if info. Got the right glands, wipe seals, gaskets, spool parts. I think he was raised on a case. I sent out 4 e-mails at christmas and he was the only one that responded in a timely manner. just another option.
