It's not that I am very excited or anything, but yes I really am. Here is picture of the LA I just purchased. As it turns out the tractor is located in storage just 30 miles from my present home. It is in my home town where I went to High School and sold to me by one of my class mates. He inherited it from his father, and sold all of his fathers tractors to class mates. This is the last to go. Driven into storage in 1989, fuel tank empty, radiator and block drained, engine free. Moved to present storage two years ago.

Look like a Keeper Bill I would check it over real good add some oil to the moving parts then crank it over a few times to see oil pressure will come up if so you are good to start it.
Add some new fuel let it drain though the carb so clear it of any dirt or rust then pull the small handle (advance and engine stop) back until you just get spark then crank her over use choke sparingly.
Once it starts pull advance all the way back and you are ready to go. Keep it low for awhile until oil pressure comes all the way 20 psi is good pressure on this old engine. Hey mine runs all day on a lot less than that.
If you change oil it takes 3 gallons. and 15 gallons on water.
Walt Keep us up on how you do.
Heck 30 miles just drive it home.

Bill you have done well! Dust the old girl off, check the fluids, add some gas and you may be able to drive it home. Good luck with it.

SWEET! Where are you located Bill? Do you suppose you could find another one for me? What was that building designed for with the low side walls?

Glenn,

The structure was original built to raise Mink. Back when Mink Furs were the rage many farmers in this area went into raising them and built huge sheds in some parts of Cache Valley Utah. This property was purchased by a Tractor Buddy of mine and he converted all the usable ones into winter vehicle storage, boats, RVs, etc. and of course tractors.
