I trying to use a six foot blade behind my Case 400(411). The existing top link connection on the tractor allows the top link to rub on the hydraulic pump actuator arms. What modifications have to be made to make this work. I've got a bracket that bolts around the pto and pins thru the top link connection but the pivot point allows the blade to curl under instead of actually lifting.any help would be apprec. gobble

Have the same problem. My 811B came without the 3 pt top link hookup that goes over the PTO shaft. I ended up cutting my bale spear top link attachment point and welding it to the top of the upright. That raised the top link attachment point by 8" and helped alot. Another thing that would help is to lengthen the lower arms somehow. That would let the bale spear go lower and lift higher. Not everyone needs this option, but the Eagle hitch, as good as it is, could use some additional lift height.

On our 800, with eagle hitch, the bracket over the PTO shaft is required. Are you sure you haven't installed the bracket up-side-down? On ours the upper studs on the tractor and holes on bracket are of a different size than the lower studs/holes... which prevents it from being installed wrong. But is the 400 the same way?

Your top link needs to be parallel with the eagle hitch arms, or slightly higher on the implement. DK
