500 Case Waterpump Question

I was noticing on my 500 that there is no grease zirk to grease the bearing on the waterpump. I am pretty sure that the tractor had a new waterpump added and am wondering if no one took the plugs out and added zirks, or if there are not supposed to be any grease zirks there. There are two plugs on the upper shaft housing. One of them is 1/8" and the other is 1/4". Should I put one or either of them in to grease the shaft bearings? Thanks-Bob

Isn"t that a david brown water pump? If so there is problably an enclosed water pump bearing in the water pump which means there isn"t a hole in the bearing shell to grease which is normal for a newer water pump. The other threaded hole is probably metric if I rememer right that is for a bolt that holds the bearing in tight.
