Hi all.. I'm looking at a 770 gas, standard transmission with a cab. Just wondering if there is anything particular I should be looking for and what your opinions are on this model. Any week points? How are they on gas plowing and haying etc? Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated as I don't know much about Cases. Thanks a lot!!!!

We have had two 770 diesels and a 730 gas. Pound for pound, H.P. for H.P. the 770 diesels are the best tractors we ever owned. The 730 gas (same basic tractor as the 770) is good also but will go thru a lot of fuel doing hard field work like plowing and chopping silage. Lighter work like grinding feed the fuel use it quite a bit less. Personally if you can find a 770 or 870 diesel you would probably be happier.
