Hey guys I have three tractors in question that I have serial numbers from and I would like to know their years and anything else that you can tell from the serial numbers, they are as follows. Case model "S" #5225937S, Case model VA #VA4828621 and last but not least, Case model SC # SC8041162. I would also be interested in finding a replacement motor or at least block for the SC as it cracked on me about 10 years ago in the cold. Thanks to all in advance.

I am looking at buying a 570 LXT with a serial number of LLG 0224860. Is there any way to tell how old this tractor is? Thanks.

Tom

Where is the SC cracked? If its behind the carb, it can be repaired. We've got a DC thats been repaired & has been "earning its living" with the repaired block for about 10 years w/no problems. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
