Where can I find a 159 gas engine for my 530 CK?

I have a really nice 1964 Construction King 530 backhoe. Unfortunately there is a fist sized hole in the side of the engine.

I have been all over the web and asked locally and have not been able to find a block or engine.
It is a really nice hoe and a shame to let it sit.

PLEASE!!
Help me find an engine or decently priced parts backhoe so I can get mine running again!

Is the 530 tractor engine different than the backhoe engine?

Thank you for any help,
D. West

If your pulling the engine out why not go diesel, if you can find one. The W3 I am buying has a 188 diesel and I think the gas engine in that model was a 159. From what I am told the W3 and the 530 case are basicly the same ,engine wise. You would have to check this out with some of the people on this board who know better than I. This maybe just another option to go with if youy can find the 159.

Im not sure but i thought that the same motor was used in some case skidsters.
Check with some salvage yards.
I got a block that way, Still have it, it was for a 580CK gas.
Havent got around to changing the parts from one to the other yet.
Did you blow a rod on yours?
On the one i have the block was welded & it has some cracks in that weld & leaks oil.
So Im going to change out the block.
I don't know what was the cause of the crack,
It runs fine but will rebuild it with a diff block.
