CASE PLOW ID HELP

A friend of mine gave me what he said was a JD 214 two bottom plow, however when I got it home, it looks like it was just painted green with a JD sticker. the only numbers on it is on one casting it says CASE, and the moldboards say ex-16. There is a thin piece of metal that has a stamp that has HF in a small square upside down on one landside. It has a removable rear cast wheel, and it looks like it is a three point plow of some sort. I know nothing about Case tractors so any help would be great!
Thanks!

It's probably a model BE. They were made for the case eagle hitch tractors. The hitch is a little different than the three point hitch you are used too. The first eagle hitch plow was a model BER. It would have used a CX bottom.

Thanks Scott, I wonder why anyone painted in JD green, they must have used it on a JD somehow, so I need to find a Case owner who wants this plow, maybe trade something for it!
Thanks again!

The BE and BER plows were part green and part Flambeau red. As I recall our frame parts were red and the top link hitch poit and associated straps were green as was the tail wheel. Dad bought this BER new in 1954.

Where are you? If Scot doesn"t make a deal and you are close to Houston or College Station, TX we might work a deal. I am looking for a 2 or 3 bottom BE or BER. My email is on.

Case painted some of their implements green. It is a darker green like Oliver used. If you are interested in selling it let me know. My email is open.
