If I keep the oil at the proper dipstick level, the rockshaft arms won't raise at all. If I overfill it, it raises very slowly and chatters a bit on the way up. Once it is overfilled so that it raises-when it lowers oil spews from the vent under the seat at the rock shaft position. This oil is very aerated/foamy. But once it is up it will hold all day. I replaced the piston cup seal and wiper because I originally thought that it was leaking by the piston seal to then leak out the vent. With brand new seal it is still leaking out the vent, but I now believe it is becuase of being overfilled. I am going to put a psi guage on it now and check pressure next. Anyone else ever have a similar problem?
