I have a Case 400 diesel tractor that needs another engine (it threw a rod and punched a big hole in the block). Does anyone know where I can find another engine (at least a short-block)? The number on the engine is A267. I appreciate any information that I can get....thanks!

Hi there, I have a 400 Case Racine tractor diesel engine, it is still in the tractor and the engine is stuck at the momemt, it is all in tact except for the water pump and the injector pump. You can buy the engine without the cylinder heads if you like. Price without the heads is $375.00. This price includes my labor to pull the engine and remove the heads, etc. The block DOES NOT appear to be cracked at the usual place where they crack from freezing. Where do you live? Could be delivered, depending where you live. Let me know what you are thinking, I am 17 Miles N. of Allentown, Pa. 18088. thanks, glad to serve you. I have some other 400 parts if you need them. Sincerely, Caseman44

Hi there, I have two 400 diesel tractors, the one is bell housing on back, I had sold the engine out of that tractor, the other one is almost the whole tractor yet, fuel tank, steering wheel assy., I sold the belt pulley off of it and I am keeping the powersteering set up for my Case 400 gas tractor. I have a decent hood, grille is pretty mangled up, I have the radiator, eagle hitch arms, rear wheel centers, front rims and hubs, down shaft and spindles, have the whole diesel engine, still in the tractor, drawbar set up, etc. let me know what you need and we can go from there, This is big CASE 400 Racine diesel tractor, Sincerely, Caseman44
