I am having problems getting fuel to come down to the settiment bulb. The fuel line is clear, but I have heard there is a sock in the fuel tank which may be restricting fuel. How can I get the fuel tank far enough back to work on the bottom of the tank without taking the cab off...

Had the same problem with my 2090. At 15 degrees it would not get enough fuel. Acted like it was jelling up. Kept getting worse and worse till we were blowing back through the line to open it up almost every day in nice weather. Pulled the tank back and removed the suction tube and sock from the tank. Found the sock was doubled up under itself from the factory, and only about 10% of the sock was useable. Flushed the tank, put the suction back in properly, and squezed the tank back in the tractor. Runs great now. Had a terrible time getting the tank back in. Acted like the tank was bigger than it should have been. Was a terribly tight fit. Good Luck DK

Rather than removing the tank you could take the line off at the sediment bowl and put air pressure on it to clear the screen, then leave it sit for a bit and drain your trap, I did this several times to a 2090 that had sat for awhile and it straightened it out without haveing to remove the tank.

Actually come out through the top. You need to drain the tank, take the keepers off the side and VERY carefully pry on the tank. Unless really caked with dirt it will loosen and slide back. When slide back enough yo will see where the hoses go in, remove and remove sock. best to take the tank clear out and remove the dirt before reassembly. Have some help you lift the tank off.

Mr. Orange, I have taken the four bolts at the rear of the tank, how do I get the strips out from beside the tank??? There seems to be a ton of dirt around them that I have dug out with a piece of stiff wire...
