Forks for a loader

Does anyone have any idea(s) as to how to construct a set of forks that will attach to a 580CK loader bucket, (or replace it), or where I can buy said attachment? I've read many posts on here from people who have clever and inventive ideas about such things, so I thought I'd ask and see what you guys have to offer.

Thanks in advance.

Paul

we use a set of bolt on forks at my work. they're pretty heavy duty and take about 30 sec to put on and off. its two single forks so you can make them as wide as the bucket or pallet size. pretty nice really. theyre about 20 years old and have outlasted 3 machines. this is basically them - Link

Northern Hydraulics has some. Kind of pricey. I made a set for my 580CK by using a three point bale fork. It sets in the bucket and I attached it with a clamp to the bucket lip and the top mast of the three point to a hook welded to the top of the bucket. Worked great moving round bales. Only problem is guessing where the tips of the forks are! Detaches quickly and doesn't alter the bucket or forks.

Where I work we have about a 1979 or 1980 Case 480C yellow construction series tractor. We have a set of forks made by I believe it"s CTI of Denver area. These forks use three hooks welded to the top of the bucket. You just pull up to the forks with the bucket rolled forward, roll the bucket back and they"re on there. Only problem is our tractor is kinda weak and reached out that far your lifting ability is somewhat reduced bu they handle 1000 lbs plus pretty well. I will look to find these people on the web and post their address. Jim
