IF THE FRAME OF YOU SEAT IS GOOD YOU CAN GET CUSHIONS AND A BACK REST FOR A JOHN DEERE B OR A AND CAN GET THEM TO FIT THE CASE FRAME WITH A TORCH AND WELDER. THE BACK REST IS CURVED MORE ON THE JOHN DEERE. I CHECKED ALL OVER AND COULD NOT FIND ANYONE WHO SOLD SEATS FOR THE VAS. GOOD LUCK.

I wouldn't debate to long. I doubt if you have any luck finding one. Most of them rusted out because of the dirt and moisture and no where for the water to drain off. If you do cut vac fender off please remember that the fender wasn't cut straight across the bottom The center cross pressed into the fender was rotated towards the front of the platform or the front of the tractor.

Just to clarify on fenders - the VAS are different from other VA series in that they mount to platform rather than to axles. They are about 2/3 the height of VAC fenders and are different left vs right - I"m debating cutting a regular VAC fender off if I can"t find one.
