Did anyone go to the Schrock auction? If so, can you tell us what some of the Case's brought, particularly the 1030 and the 350? Thanks for any information you can provide!

Thanks for the info! The tractors looked real nice in the photos and it sounds like they brought some decent prices. I'm in Virginia and saw a trailer coming down the road yesterday with a Minneapolis-Moline Uni-baler or something like it, so I figured that he traveled a long way to get that! I know that the MM UDLX is rare and a nice tractor, but I would want something I could live in full-time for that kind of money! Hope everyone had a good time and got what they wanted. Thanks again for the postings!

Spent all three days there. 1030-$5500, 350-$4700, 830-$2250, 930-$3500, VAS- $13,000, VAIW-$3300, R-$6500, RC w/WF $4200, 500-$6500, 910B-$6500, 412LP orchard $10,000, 414LP orchard $2500 I think that the VAS suprised everyone!

VAS had wrong seat, no fenders and probably wrong front wheels. Otherwise it was very nice. Glad to see it go that high - it makes me want to restore mine - just wish I had found a single right VAS fender on one of the parts wagons

The 830D COM w/wide front wouldn"t start or they didn"t know how to. The 1030 looked like a nice original tractor with cab that belonged on it. The sheet metal on the 400 orchards (at least one of them) looked VERY good. I was surprised at the Olie 990 that brought $10000. a couple VAC "parts" tractors brought $400ish each.

Anyone see the Case 425 mtd. corn picker sell or the 600 case combine on Thursday?

I can't tell you what the 425 brought. They sold a F-2 combine for $150. I think that the 600 Combine sold for $600-$700. I was the last item to sell on Friday.

You should have been there on Friday if you thought that the vac and va parts tractors were high in the $400 range. They sold one on Friday for $550 as well as a DC-4 in pieces that was not complete with the wrong axle housings for $400. What do you all think of the UDLX selling for $155,000?

I tried to post link to results - I too was amazed at a basic dual narrow front SC - stuck, missing starter, carb, generator for $500 and a single front SC in similar condition with all tires shot that went $800. A nice late VAC went $3900 on Saturday.

I have yet to see a bargain at an auction. I prefer to think of them as tractor shows. Haven"t been to many, but they usually bring top dollar. Throw Aumann"s buyers premium on top of 155 and WOW! Must have been a fun show.

I will give Kurt Aumann credit, he does not charge a buyers premium unless you pay with a credit card. That is fair enough.

I stand corrected. Good for him, that is quite fair.
