I'm curious. Steel prices have more than doubled in the last year in Cambodia. What are scappers paying back in the States? How about your area?

Here you go,these are the prices in the detroit area , They update them a couple times a year, sometimes more some less. Sorry I didnt get back to you about the 615 combine....the owner wasn't comfortable dealing with a out of country buyer...and I see you found a 715 that you were looking for originally ,at a good price, and closer to the west coast. Good luck with your mission in Cambotia . Shawn

Ted I know what you mean. I work in a oilfield equipment manufacturing business and our raw material has gone through the roof, especially high alloys with lots of chrome and nickel. I believe we are getting about 0.03-0.05 cents per pound for our materials. For clean sorted chips and drop off they are paying up to 0.10 cents per pound for alloys like 4130/4140 and structural steel.
