VAC horsepower????????

I'm sure this has been asked before,however,I would like to know the HP of a VAC.I have 2 of these tractors One is a 43 VAI with standard bore and pistons.The other one is a 48 VAC with over sized bore and pistons.My question is was this over sized piston,sleeve kit a Case option or after market kit.Also is there HP diference between the two and how much

Around here the spirited 49 VAC has about 5 more horse than the lazy Sc ,, Seriously , I am not sure ,, but over the 14 years production the VAC has about 17 - 24 hp ,, and with oversize bore you could gain another 15% hp ,, MY 2 cents , others may chime in with the true facts , Best wishes, Jim

Hello, I have a 1954 CASE VA I have to sell because we are moving and downsizing. It is overhauled and has new rubber all around. The paint is decent, but now show quality by some people's standards. I had to switch the rear end to a VAC rear end that I got from JR Gyaer in Lebanon IN. The old one goes with it for parts.
What do you think I should ask for it?
