Hi Richard, so you have had dealings with a Croppy as well. Restored a 1950 T V O model for my wife the nad it stolen from outside my house 6 years ago, never found it. We contacted a lot of David Brown lads and put it in the shiney comic (tractor and machinery) but never found it. Just bought another one last weekend, a 1949 6 speed with electrics but with cracked block. Will stitch the crack and fill with Belzona as this as worked in the past. Regards Michel

It is a 1951 David Brown Cropmaster. The Engine number A= Agricultural K= Kerosene 4= 4 cylinders 3/ 31/2=31/2"Bore. 11022 is the sequential serial number. Workshop manual for the Cropmaster range will cover it. The tractor will most likley be fitted with the optional 6 speed gearbox, 12 volt belt driven generator, self starter, and a Lucas type 4VRA Magneto or it may have coil ignition. I used to have an early one that had no electrics, 4 speed box and no PTO, it was the 288th one made.
