I"m looking to replace my 8n ford with a little more tractor. My plan is to use it to pull my finish mower and brush mower, a 6.5" disc, 2 bottom plow and a rear bucket. I also plan to get a sq. bailer & rake for about 5 acres of hay. Is the Case IH 385 enough tractor?

385 is 35 PTO HP, will easily run everything you mention. We bought a new one years ago in 1985, traded it off on a 485.

Not only does it have twice the horsepower, it's much more efficient. You're going from a model T tractor to a performance tractor.
