Two different PTO setups. And few if any of the parts wil interchange in the 430. Independent PTO, the PTO has its own clutch and is driven by a shaft from the engine that does not drive the transmission. Live PTO (like mine) is driven via the transmission shafts. A second clutch (usually a hand clutch) disconnects the transmission output, allowing the PTO to keep running while the tractor stops. This is good for clearing a temporary clog but not handy for, say, shutting off the PTO spreader while turning around. You can clutch and shift gears without stopping an independent. You cannot shift gears in a live without stopping the PTO. Independent is gnerally more useful. But both will work if you understand what you are doing. Another live but not independent is the Allis CA, where you disconnectteh final drive and let the differntial spin. Another independent is the Ferguson design where the clutch step 1 disconnects the trans, and step 2 disconnects the PTO too.
