I have a vas with eagle hitch. one of the lines from the pump to the lift has developed a rusted out hole. Can this ve replaced with copper tubing, or a flexible hydrulic hose? Will the pressure be to great for the copper tubing? Thanks

Soft drawn copper tubing used in refrigeration will handle the pressure but will work harden and probably crack at the pump from vibration. Be ok for the return line from the control valve to the torque tube.

Hydraulic hose or make up your own steel tubing is best. You're only dealing with max 7 gpm @ max 1000 psi.

Do not even think of using copper. It will crack as it becomes brittle in a very short time.CENTAUR

I have seen Hydraulic hoses made up to replace the origional steel lines. If you wanted to keep it origional, try a salvage yard. Those lines are not real difficult to find.
