What is a fair price to pay for a propane head for a D Case? I want to up my HP a little to run a small sawmill. Richard

put a propane head on mine,paid $120., before head, dyno 55 hp, after propane head, 65 pto hp. no other changes. these are hard to find, valves are almost impossible to find.

i got a 1950 propane DC running, would consider somewhere in the $1500 for the head, $3000 for the whole tractor, no cracks, runs pretty good!

Richard, I paid $225.00 for a 6128 head, but two valves were bad and they cost $45.00 each and were not easy to find. After it was cooked and planed and the valves ground I had a little more than $500.00 in it.
