Hi,
I am new to tractors but have been wanting a loader/backhoe for around the house.
I puchased a older Case and was wondering if someone could help me find some info on it?
Model is D530CK Serial # is 8221053.
From looking on this great site I think it is from 1963 or so but any other info would be great.
What I want to do is find out where I can purchase rebuild kits for the rams, or any other parts for the tractor. I have looked on this sight but do not know what I really need to buy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for the info.
Are there any special tools that would be needed to rebuild the rams?
Also does anyone know of a site for motor parts if needed? It has a desiel engine.

Thanks again for the help.

Wally, You can buy the PIN Spanner for unscrewing the
Cylinder End nut, most ppl use a punch and thats slow. I bought the spanner & Seals from EPS

I use the hoe as my work bench. I do not remove hoses or the cylinder. I extend the piston to its max and remove the piston shaft PIN (connect to hoe). I unscrew the Cylinder BIG Nut & Pull the Piston Assy (come-a-long). You lose some fluid. (the Cylinder big nut has a small screw locking the treads, remove it first)

I then reconnect the Piston shaft, to the hoe, with its pin such that I can unscrew the End NUT (its very tight) and then everything will come apart.

You need strong thumbs to get the Gland seal inside the Cylinder end NUT. I coat seal & seat with lots of Lub but be careful its not damaged or it will leak Hope this Helps,

be real careful taking rams apart...i'm not sure what model it was but i've heard some of the Case rams are spring loaded and fly apart if you take them apart without a spring compressor.

There are NO spring loaded hydraulic cylinders to be found in a 530CK L/B. The only springs are located in the control valves. None of them are lethal.
