I have a 770, no cab, diesel with a 70 Case loader. I guess it was supposed to be around 60 HP, give or take a little when new. If you don"t mind the jerky powershift, they are very well built tractors. They are also very easy on fuel. My 770 will also pull about anything that a 100 horsepower 2WD tractor will, just not as fast. They are pretty sturdy. Ours weighs 10,820 if the feed mill scale i right,w/o loader on. It has fluid in tires. If it is in your price range, I would not be afraid of it. The powershift can be expensive, but there is no reason you shouldnt get 20 years or more out a rebuild. Ours lasted from "72 till now. It has just under 9 thousand hours on it, and yes the engine if getting tired. All in all, a very good machine. Rob

How many hours are on it? Has it ever been overhauled?
