I Have A Case 611B COM And Oil Gets Into Starter Through Drive? Flywheel Is Not Oily except On The Teeth. Seems To be COM Oil, Does The Flywheel Run In Oil? Where Could It Be Leaking? Thanks Gene

Thanks Dale That Answeed My Question, I Sealed It Between the Back Of Starter Plate and Drive Housing And I See There Is a Gasket Between Starter And Bell Housing, I Put Some Silicone There But It Seems To Be Leaking Around Shaft Where It Goes Into Drive Housing. Starter Shop Must Have Never Put a Seal Back In There When I Had It Rebuilt. Now I Know. Thanks Again, Gene

Geno, I also have a 611B and the flywheel does indeed run in com fluid. There are two seals on the starters for com's that keep oil in the torque tube and out of the starter. I took my starter to a rebuild shop to fix, because I could not get replacement parts from Case.
